Justin Mohareb has been offering guidance on how to create a minicon. And why should we listen to Justin? Well, he runs an annual gaming event with hundreds of players, not tens of players. And, GameEx is part of an event with tens of thousands of people.

GameEx takes place every year about ten blocks from the Lillian H. Smith library. And it happens two weeks after OSRCon.

It’s at the Metro Convention Centre down by Union Station. GameEx is part of an event called FanEx with offerings for horror, scifi, movie, and comic fans. Let me warn you in advance that the event is so huge it can at times seem overwhelming. Plan what you want to see in advance and stick to your plan. That might just keep you from being trampled by cosplayers dressed as their favorite anime character.
