Consolidation around Labyrinth Lord?

I remember last year there was a number of new old school systems. Let’s say Castles & Crusades, Hackmaster, Swords & Wizardry, and Labyrinth Lord. At this point – four months out – we have two Labyrinth Lord games already. Perhaps the Old School Revival has started consolidate around a smaller number of products?

I think Labyrinth Lord is pretty popular among old-schoolers, and lots of OSR module and supplement writers are using it as their “default” system as well.

I suspect that Labyrinth Lord is considered as close to “system neutral” as the retro-clones get. With only minor alterations, material for Labyrinth Lord can be adapted easily to virtually all clone systems.
