Sometimes there is a moment in a game where a silence happens, somebody says something, and the room breaks up with laughter. It guess it’s timing. Sometimes stand-up comedy is like that. The joke out of context isn’t so funny, but it’s so perfectly positioned on top of a wave that it crashes at the right time.
At the Wizard’s Cache game there was a moment that cracked up the table of eight players and the HeroClix game (played with miniatures) at the next table. That is, the whole room.
The party was fighting some centipede things and Frank says, “I see. You will kill them for their failure to communicate.”
